“This is an important step for us and will enable us to grow our business in a region where a local presence has become a key success factor,” said Bram Klaeijsen, head of Cargill’s food ingredients operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  “This will enable us to gain a greater understanding of customer requirements and allow us to deliver unique, high value solutions to food and beverage companies in the Middle East.”

“Dubai is an important international business centre and the opening of this office demonstrates our commitment to a region where we see exciting growth opportunities in the food industry,” he said.

Customers will be able to access a number of food ingredients and poultry products via Cargill representatives in the Dubai office.  These food ingredients currently include fruit juice concentrates, flavourings, sweeteners and texturants.
