Dutch food and nutrition company Numico has announced the appointment of Peter Bennemeer as regional vice president of baby food for the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium and as managing director of baby food in the Netherlands, effective 1 January 2005.

In his new role, Bennemeer will take on the responsibility for the implementation and execution of the company’s baby food strategy in the aforementioned countries.
Bennemeer joins Numico from H.J. Heinz, where his latest positions were managing director Netherlands and area director Northern Europe. Prior to working at H.J. Heinz, Bennemeer held senior management and sales positions with Reckitt Benckiser, Kellogg’s and Mars.
