Ferrero is trialling European biscuit brand Nutella B-ready in the US.

The Italy-based snacks and chocolate spread maker is testing the biscuits at select stores across the Atlantic.

“Nutella B-ready is one of our new popular products in Europe, and we are currently evaluating American’s reactions to the product.  We look forward to continuing to find ways to share our innovations with U.S. consumers in the future,” a spokesperson for Ferrero’s US business told just-food.

The spokesperson refused to be drawn on US media reports Ferrero was testing the biscuits at regional retailer Big-Y or how long the trial will last.

Ferrero took the brand into the UK last month. The biscuits are also on sale in markets including Italy and France.

The group’s US business includes international brands Ferrero Rocher, Nutella and Tic Tac. Ferrero’s US arm also houses local chocolate maker Fannie May Confections Brands, acquired earlier this year.
