FINLAND: Atria posts increased net profit for Jan-Sept
Finnish meat group Atria has posted a net profit of €12.4m (US$12.35m) for the period January to September 2002, up from €11.7m for the same period last year. The company said that profits were up due to good demand at its Swedish unit but warned that its full-year result would underperform last year’s result due to lower profitability at its slaughtering and meat-cutting units.
