Spanish food group Ebro Puleva has said it has reached a preliminary agreement to purchase the Finnish rice brand Risella from Raisio Ythyma Oyj.
Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to be completed within the next few weeks, were not disclosed.
The acquisition marks Ebro Puleva’s entry into Finland, where Risella has a 24% share of the rice market, reported Dow Jones International News.
