By GlobalDataMD Mark Salter told just-food the roll-out got off to a strong start in Asda. "We ran a very successful store pilot in 50 stores in Asda in April. The 27th July launch is the national roll out to 300 stores."
Aisha said the range was designed to broaden the taste experience of infants and is not just aimed at Muslim parents. The company said the line is at the "forefront" of healthy, exotic and convenient purees.
The recipes are made from natural ingredients, including certified organic fruit and vegetables. The line consists of six variants: Moroccan chicken tagine with couscous and apricots, shepherd’s pie with lamb and aromatic spices, Indian chicken and sweet potato curry, mild curried chicken dhal made with lentils, Jamaican jerk chicken with mango and a vegetarian tomato and chunky chickpea curry.
"Our uniquely complex recipes offer unrivalled health and weaning benefits," Salter said.
