French retailers Auchan and Casino have announced their intention to set up a joint venture to offer retail and trading services to international customers.

The venture, provisionally titled International Retail and Trade Services, will target multinational suppliers that already negotiate business deals internationally, as well as small and medium-sized businesses that want to develop outside their domestic markets, reported Dow Jones International.
The two companies will each control a 50% stake in the new venture.
