Auchan has told just-food that it is planning to open an outlet selling only organic products in France this spring.
The supermarket, which will open under the Coeur de Nature name, will offer completely organic produce, a spokesperson for Auchan said today (14 February). The store will act as a trial for the organic supermarket concept, the retailer said.

It will open during the spring, however, no location has yet been given for the store.
“This is an experiment and we have no other projects open for now,” the spokesperson said. “It is too early to elaborate further on the concept and to give a specific opening date.”
