Bakkavör Group has appointed Giampaolo Schiratti as managing director of Bakkavör France.
He will be responsible for the group’s four manufacturing sites in the region.

“The group is committed to strengthening its position in the French market and Giampaolo will be responsible for driving new business opportunities as well as maximising synergies across the existing fresh prepared foods sites,” the company said in a statement sent to just-food.
Bakkavör said that Schiratti has over 24 years of experience working in the consumer goods and agribusiness. His past includes roles at Bonduelle and most recently Uniq’s Marie Frais et Surgelés.
Schiratti has replaced Simon Flude in the position.
