Campbell Soup Co. announced today (30 September) that it has completed the sale of its French condiments business, Generale Condimentaire, to Lesieur.
In July, Campbell said that it would sell the unit to focus on its simple-meals category in the market, including its soup brands Liebig and Royco.
The business includes a manufacturing plant in Dunkerque, France and rights to sauce and mayonnaise products sold under the Lesieur brand.
The financial terms were not disclosed.
