French retail giant Carrefour has sold five shopping centres to French real estate group Klepierre, a subsidiary of French bank BNP Paribas and one of the largest shopping centre operators in continental Europe.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, Carrefour’s Spanish unit, Carrefour Espana, has announced that its local subsidiaries Grup Supeco Maxor, Supermercados Champion and Supermercados Champion y Cia have sold a total of 59 commercial premises. Some of the premises were sold to French insurance company CNP, reported the French News Digest.
