French food manufacturer Danone has appointed an executive vice president of baby nutrition following the departure of Christian Neu.

Felix Martin Garcia, co-executive vice president of the fresh dairy products division, will take up the role on 1 January.

Jordi Constans, the other co-executive vice president of the fresh dairy products division, will take Garcia’s role as executive vice president of the division.

Danone CEO Franck Riboud said: “On behalf of the executive committee of Danone and myself, I wish to thank Christian Neu for his decisive contribution to our performance since joining Danone in 1986.

“In his new consulting activities, Christian will naturally remain in close contact with Danone, in particular as advisor to the senior management on specific missions. The appointments of Jordi Constans and Felix Martin, who have already amply demonstrated their expertise in rich and varied career paths within Danone, reflect the continuity of our operations and our commitment to pursuing the accelerated development of our business,” he added.
