The French Farming and Fisheries Ministry yesterday (8 September) began broadcasting a series of public health programmes in collaboration with the National Consumers’ Institute.

From now until 25 October, the Consomag (a contraction of ‘Consumer Magazine’) broadcasts will cover health issues in relation to traditional foods, farmed fish, food innovations, seasonal foods and novel foods.

These two-minute slots will be spread across the week on France 2, France 3,
France 4 and RFO Tempo. They will be followed up with more detailed webcast content, which will be accessible from either http://www.conso.net or
http://www.agriculture.gouv.fr.
