FrieslandCampina has agreed to sell French cheese unit Société Industrielle Fromagère to Austrian dairy Rupp.
The Dutch dairy giant has offloaded the business, based in Charmoille, in north-eastern France, for an undisclosed sum.
FrieslandCampina said Rupp would “endeavour” to boost production at the unit, which employs eight staff, and increase sales of cheese as an ingredient.
