The company said the yoghurts will go on sale in France under the Lactel brand name.

“It’s a natural step for Lactel to enter the organic yogurt segment given that it already has strong presence in organic milk with a French market share of more than 50%,” a spokesman for Lactalis told just-food.

Lactel’s organic yogurts will be available in five flavours – natural, strawberry, vanilla, cherry and peach.
