Mondelez International has added to its Milka Snax range of salty snacks covered with chocolate in France.

Milka Snax Cranchito product comprises “maize nibbles” covered in Milka milk chocolate. It will be part of a range that includes also includes Daim, Crispy, Brezel and Popcorn.

A spokesperson for Mondelez in France told just-food the product is an “innovative sweet and savoury recipe that offers the consumer a unique experience”.

Milka Snax Cranchito has a recommended retail price of EUR1.99 (US$2.60) in France.

The Milka Snax range is also on sale in Germany, while last year Mondelez forerunner Kraft Foods launched Cadbury Pretzels in the UK.
