Nestle has recalled bottles of its P’tit Pot baby food range in France due to a possible broken glass risk.

The company said today (30 June) that it was recalling banana-flavoured P’tit Pot sold in lots of two 80 gram jars.

The company did not confirm how many jars the it would be recalling, although reports in the French press suggested that some 34,000 containers are being recalled.

A Nestle spokesperson said the recall was limited to France.

The bar codes on the recalled products are 7 613033089732, with an expiry date of October 2012. The batch number is L 10980295.
