Nestlé has invested EUR300,000 (US$419,849) in setting up its first ‘Shopper Center’ in Europe on the site of the Nestlé France headquarters in Noisiel, in the Paris suburbs.

“The objective of the Shopper Center is to study the behaviour of consumers in close collaboration with the retailer groups,” a Paris-based Nestlé spokesperson told just-food.

The Center, a copy of the facility the Swiss group already has in place in St Louis, Missouri, in the US – a miniature hypermarket covering 600 sq m – will enter service next Wednesday (8 July), the spokesperson added.
