French dry, chilled and frozen food dishes manufacturer is investing EUR15m (US$19.91m) this year in extending capacity at its production plants and building new office facilities.  


EUR7m has been earmarked for a 3, 300 square metre extension of the Pontchâteau production plant,  near Nantes, which makes macaroon and puff pastries. Fifty new jobs will be created at the site.  


At the company’s plant in Saint-Herblain, also in the Nantes area and where capacity was extended last year, EUR2m will be invested in building 1,200 square metres of office space.


Tipiak posted a consolidated turnover in 2005 of EUR124m with the chilled and frozen segment accounting for 64 % of sales.
