German seafood processor Deutsche See has acquired compatriot fish products company Seefisch for an undisclosed sum.
Seefisch will continue operations as a production unit of Deutsche See, reported the Hamburger Abendblatt. Some thirty Seefisch employees are expected to be made redundant, while the remaining 70 will be retained.
Deutsche See operates 26 branches throughout Germany.
