German food group Dr. Oetker has spent EUR5m (US$6.7m) expanding its sole production facility in Turkey.
A spokesman told just-food today (21 May) that it has enlarged its plant in the Turkish town of Pancar.
The site produces a range of puddings, bakery products and pizza products for the Turkish market.
Local reports in Turkey said Dr. Oetker has doubled its turnover in the country over the last three years. The spokesman declined to comment on the company’s financial performance in Turkey.
