GERMANY: Metro appoints Stefan Feuerstein to its management board
The supervisory board of German retailer Metro has appointed Stefan Feuerstein as a member of the company's management board. From 1 January 2003, Feuerstein will assume responsibility for the areas of buying, imports, advertising, catering and food retailing. Previously Feuerstein was the spokesman for the management of Real Holding.

Feuerstein will succeed Joachim Suhr who will step down for personal reasons. Suhr will continue to be available to the group in a consultative capacity.
