The German unit of Dutch milk processor Campina is to expand its production unit in Elsterwerda, Brandenburg.

As part of the expansion, the unit will produce Elsterwerda desserts for the Dutch market. Campina also plans to relocate its pudding and sweets production from its Dutch Woerden plant to Elsterwerda as well as creating 25 jobs. The Elsterwerda unit currently employs 300 people.
Campina processes 46% of milk produce in Brandenburg, and is a leader in the local dairy products market with its Mark Brandenburg brand, reported the German News Digest.
