German dairy company Nordmilch generated earnings of €21.1m (US$25.8m) in 2004, following a loss of €86m in 2003, the company said today (Monday) according to the German News Digest.
German dairy company Nordmilch generated earnings of €21.1m (US$25.8m) in 2004, following a loss of €86m in 2003, the company said today (Monday) according to the German News Digest.
Consolidated sales were €2.1bn in 2004. Nordmilch sales were €2.15bn in 2003.
Nordmilch, in Bremen, northern Germany, attributed the favourable development of the financial results to successful restructuring. As a part of the restructuring measures, the company has reduced its staff by about 1,750. Nordmilch employed a workforce of 3,915 on average in 2004.
