German dairy group Nordmilch is set to quit the fresh milk and dessert segments to focus on more lucrative parts of the business.

Nordmilch, a EUR2bn (US$2.7bn) company operating in the consumer and industrial dairy sectors, told just-food today (6 September) that it wants to focus on its other divisions, including cheese.

The company refused to be drawn on a possible sale of its fresh milk and yogurt businesses.
