Frankfurt-based food ingredients firm Nutrinova has said it is strengthening its efforts to enter the Asian market with its omega-3 DHA product.


As part of its strategy to launch its Nutrinova DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), the company said it has initiated application projects with Chinese manufacturers of dietary supplements and infant nutrition products.


First product launches are expected for 2005. In addition, the company said it is evaluating business opportunities in other Asian countries.
