Shareholders in German dairy Pommernmilch have approved the sale of the business to Nordmilch, the largest dairy company in the country.

Some 97% of Pommernmilch shareholders voted for the takeover, which now moves to German regulators for clearance.
Nordmilch said the move would enable the business to boost its expertise in cheese production.
