German retailer Rewe has appointed Heinz-Bert Zander as chairman of its supervisory board.

Zander had previously served as spokesperson for the management board of Rewe’s Dortmund Groshandel division.
He will replace Klauz Burghard, who stepped down as chairman in mid-February.
