Rewe’s head of food purchasing has resigned, the German retail giant has announced.

René Plasman’s resignation will come into effect from the end of this month.
“Plasman left for personal reasons,” a spokesperson for the company told just-food.
The spokesperson added that Rewe did not wish to comment beyond a short statement praising Plasman’s achievements in developing strategic planning.
