In total, 454 Greek dairies have now applied for EU subsidies from the Third Community Support Framework.
The dairy companies have all submitted investment plans to the Ministry of Development, an expert commission from which is to begin considering the plans as early as next month.
According to local newspaper, Naftemporiki, the ministry will give priority to the investment schedules of small-and medium-sized firms, worth about €300,000 (US$265,600).
