Food group Friesland Hellas, the local subsidiary of Dutch giant Friesland Coberco Dairy Foods, has posted a pre-tax profit of €3.6m (US$3.2m) for its fiscal 2001.
This compares to a pre-tax profit of €3.5m for the previous year. Turnover at the company rose 12.7% year-on-year to €142m, according to local newspaper Imerisia.
With its dairy products brand Nounou, Friesland Hellas controls 25% of the local dairy market.
