Nestle has worked with a group of "culinary artisans" in the US on a new Häagen-Dazs ice cream range.

The company, which licences the brand from General Mills, said it had "vetted more than a hundred, high-quality culinary products" for the the Häagen-Dazs Artisan collection.

The range includes lines like Tres Leches Brigadeiro, Ginger Molasses Cookie and Applewood Smoked Caramel Almond.

The ice creams are hitting shelves now and can be purchased at retailers nationwide, including Walmart, Target Corp., Kroger and Safeway, by April. All flavours are available in 14 oz. cartons at a suggested retail price of US$5.29. The Tres Leches Brigadeiro line is also available in a 3.6 oz. cup at a suggested retail price of $1.49.

Nestle said the suggested retail price for the new ice creams was "line-priced with other Häagen-Dazs products".
