Hershey is launching a Reese's-branded spread in Canada.

Reese Spreads combine chocolate and peanut butter in a spreadable format. The move follows the US launch last year, although the product there is called Reese's Spreads.

"Reese Spreads delivers the authentic Reese flavours Canadians have known and loved for decades in a format that allows them to enjoy the classic brand in a whole new way," said Amruta Vaidya, director of marketing at Hershey's Canadian operations. "While it tastes great spread on your favourite snack, many people will love the taste so much they will want to dig in with a spoon and eat it straight from the jar."

Reese Spreads are now available in major retailers across Canada in 650g jars for a suggested retail price of C$6.79 (US$5.50).
