As part of the deal, Perfetti van der Melle has also sold the right to use its Fundy trademark and the right to distribute international brands such as Frutella, Mentos and Alpenliebe in Hungary.
Last year, Perfetti van der Melle was the fourth largest producer in the Hungarian confectionery sector, recording a turnover of 3.82bn forints (US$15.4m).
