The Hungarian subsidiary of French dairy group Danone has opened a new dessert production line at its Budapest facility.

The company invested 625m forints (US$2.7m) in the new production line, which will begin making Danette Duett desserts and has an annual capacity of more than one million units.
Danone Hungary posted 2002 after-tax profit of 1.2bn forints on revenue of 19.97bn forints, reported the Hungarian News Digest.
