Hungarian food and beverage company Nestlé Hungaria, a subsidiary of Swiss food giant Nestlé, is to halt chocolate production at its factory in Szerencs, in the north east of the country.

Nestlé Hungaria will increase the plant’s soft drinks production capacity and also carry out coffee and cocoa preliminary processing there.

The chocolate production will be transferred to the company’s chocolate factory in Miskolc, northeastern Hungary.

The company does not plan to cut any jobs during the reorganisation, reported the Hungarian News Digest.
