US potato processor Idahoan Foods is launching new soup and snack lines this month
The company is introducing an Idahoan Steakhouse potato soup and additional Idahoan Fully Loaded mashed products.
The new dry potato soup is the company's first move in the category. The soups are free from gluten, artificial flavours, MSG and PHOs.
"Today's consumers want exciting flavours and convenient solutions without compromising taste; at Idahoan we take great pride in innovating products that satisfy consumer needs," said director of retail marketing at Idahoan Foods, Ryan Ellis. "Our new dry soup line is a convenient and delicious solution for people who enjoy wholesome and hearty soups with real ingredients."
The Fully Loaded products include peppered bacon & cheddar, nacho cheese and butterly delicious. These mashed potato products come in single-serve cups that open up the on-the-go snacking sector, Idahoan Foods suggested.
"We are delighted to have two product lines debut this month and expect Fully Loaded Mashed to be a hit with younger consumers," said Ellis. "Each package is bursting with the type of bold flavours they love."
