The Indian joint venture of US chocolate group Hershey is considering putting two fruit drink brands up for sale, according to a report in the newspaper Economic Times.

The report stated that the brands, Jumpin’ and Xs, had been underperformers and had contributed little to Hershey in terms of market share, citing unidentified sources.

Hershey owns 51% in the joint venture, Godrej Hershey Beverages and Foods, having acquired the participation in April for US$55m.
