Unilever subsidiary Hindustan Lever Ltd is planning to close down its sea catch business later this year.
The division last year accounted for 8% of the overall turnover generated by the marine export division. The marine division sells value-added seafood, a key component in HLL’s export plans. The company is one of Asia’s largest exporters of fish protein isolates.
