Indonesian food producer Indofood Sukses Makmur has forecast a 10% rise in sales next year.
Chief executive Eva Riyanti Hutapea said the increase in total sales would be supported by a 20% rise in noodle sales.
The company reported sales of 12.98trn rupiah (US$1.5bn) for the nine months to 30 September, a rise of 9.7% compared to a year earlier. Sales of noodles, flour, and edible oils and fats accounted for 86% of total sales, the company said.
Nine-month net profit dropped 30% to 453.5bn rupiah due to interest expenses and lower foreign exchange gains, reported Reuters.
