Indonesia’s Indofood Sukses Makmur, the world’s largest maker of instant noodles, has reportedly seen first-half sales rise 12%.

Vice President Frankiscus Welirang told local reporters that revenue rose 12.5% during the first half. Welirang said the company hoped to see similar growth throughout the rest of the year.

According to Reuters this morning (4 July), Welirang did not give specific numbers for the first half. The reports said, however, that the company produced an average of 200m packs of noodles per week during the first half of last year.
