Global dairy and food giant Danone is to expand its baby food manufacturing facility in Wexford.
Danone has secured EUR20m (US$25m) in funding from Enterprise Ireland for the investment, which is expected to create around 45 jobs.

The expansion is expected to help meet growing demand for Danone’s products across the European market, it has said, and builds on the EUR50m invested in the company’s other Irish based manufacturing facility in Macroom, Cork since December 2010.
The facility produces brands including Aptamil and Cow & Gate.
