Sweden-based free-from manufacturer Fria has entered the Irish market with the launch of a range of bakery products.
A selection of Fria products are now available at Supervalu stores in the Cork region.
“We’re very excited to be launching Fria in Ireland,” Fria export manager Gunilla Lisspers said. “This is another testament to the growing consumer demand for our free-from products across Europe”.
Fria has joined forces with local Irish distributor Healthy Free From Foods for the launch. David Buckley, MD of Healthy Free From Foods, said: “We see a big demand for Fria’s products in Ireland and we’re confident that the distribution chain for Fria in Ireland will increase, as people savour the quality and taste of this superb range.”
In March, Fria added to its range of products available in the UK. Ireland is Fria’s eleventh market. It also sells free-from lines across Scandinavia, the Benelux countries, Germany and Switzerland.
