Irish food group Glanbia has announced Kevin Toland has given notice of his resignation as president and CEO of its US and global nutritionals divisions.
Toland will also stand down from the company’s board at the end of the year, when he will take up the role of CEO of Dublin Airport Authority.
Glanbia described Toland’s exit as “personal” and said it was prompted by his “desire to live full time in Ireland”.
A spokesperson for the company told just-food the company is yet to appoint Toland’s replacement but emphasised his departure would not have an impact on Glanbia’s operations.
“We have the structure in place. There are four CEOs in the US and they do – and will continue to – run very successful businesses,” the spokesperson said. “We are now in the process of looking for a successor.”
