Israeli food manufacturer Osem Investments saw its earnings climb in the first half of the year.
In the six months to the end of June, net profit reached NIS184.7m (US$50.5m), a 2.4% increase on the prior year period.
The increase in net income was thanks to a 2.9% increase in operating profit, the firm said, which reached NIS257.1m. The group also attributed the improvements to an expansion of its operations, new activities in Israel and abroad, and the launch of new products.
Total turnover amounted to NIS2.07bn, a 3.2% increase on last year.
