Food company Osem Investments said its growth trend of recent years is continuing, noting that its sales for the 3rd quarter in 2005 totalled ILS 694.8m (US$147.8m), 8% more than for the same period last year.


Osem, controlled by Nestlé International, posted a net profit of ILS 53m for the 3rd quarter, compared with ILS 82.3m for the same quarter last year. Excluding one-time income in the 3rd quarter and in the corresponding quarter of last year, Osem posted a profit of ILS 47.2m for the third quarter, 11% more than the ILS 42.6m in the corresponding quarter last year, as noted in Globes.
