TNUVA, Israel’s largest food and dairy company, has selected the e- collaboration enterprise application solution Movex NextGen from Intentia, to be implemented in its dairies throughout Israel. The total order value amounts to USD 2.6 million, out of which USD 1 million in license fees and the remaining USD 1.6 million in consulting services.

TNUVA has outgrown its current information system and today needs an advanced consolidated system that can help TNUVA to increase efficiency in logistics and production. Movex will be implemented at TNUVA’s dairies in Israel and used for the management of inventory, purchase and production planning, as well as plant maintenance.

“We looked at several systems on the market to fit our requirements for the dairies. With the Movex system we could find the best total solution when it comes to functionality, technology and experience from the supplier adding up to the best benefits for our company,” says Mrs. Varda Polak, Chief Information Officer at TNUVA. Mrs. Polak is the executive responsible for the selection of the new system. “We especially appreciated the industry application approach from Intentia with specific functionality for dairies as well as the necessary competence for implementation of a mission-critical system in a dairy environment. Furthermore, we found that Intentia’s Java technology is in the forefront of technology and looks to be an excellent way to protect our investments in IT for the future,” concludes Mrs. Polak.

“Intentia is very pleased to have won this vote of confidence from an Israeli market leader such as TNUVA. Entering this cooperative venture will both yield a very important customer for us and position Movex in the Israeli Food & Beverage business as an advanced mission-critical solution. It also represents further proof of our leadership in the Food & Beverage industry, and that the substantial investments we made to develop Movex for selected industries like F&B is paying off,” says Lars Lundstrom, Director of Sales & Operations at Intentia Europe.

“This is a very important order for Intentia Israel. TNUVA is the largest Food & Beverage company in our country with high demands on IT solutions and services. We are very pleased to have been selected for this project,” says Eli Maisels, Managing Director, Intentia Israel.

TNUVA dairies will be the first Movex NextGen installation based on the Java technology in Israel. “We are sure this project will give us a lot of visibility and publicity in the Israeli market, and we believe it will give us a strong push forward in our objectives to establish Movex as a leading solution on the Israeli market too,” concludes Eli Maisels.
