The company’s president, Giancarlo Minguzzi, said: “We join Origine Group because we believe in its project: joining forces to get the best value for our fruits in the international markets.

“This partnership is necessary if we want to have the scale to meet future challenges in the global marketplace. Origine Group has demonstrated to be a very effective organisation, thanks also to its brand portfolio.”

He said Origine’s strategy fits well with its own business model.

“Thirty per cent of our fruits are sold in the national market, while the rest goes to Europe and overseas, in particular Canada, USA and Asia,” he said.
