Italian food processing company La Doria has posted a 2002 consolidated operating profit of €5.2m (US$5.6m), compared to €4m for 2001.
La Doria, which specialises in tomato-based products, said its consolidated earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for 2002 were €13.5m, compared to €12.1m a year earlier.
The company posted consolidated pre-tax profit of €2m for 2002, compared to €2.1m in 2001. Consolidated turnover was €313.2m, compared to €286.4 a year earlier.
La Doria reported non-consolidated operating profit of €2.6m for 2002, up from €1.7m for 2001. Pre-tax profit was €1.2m for 2002, down from €2.4m for 2001, reported the Italian News Digest.
