Japanese seafood maker Maruha Group has announced that it has reached a preliminary agreement with Japan Tobacco to team up in the frozen food market.

The two companies plan to jointly procure ingredients, produce frozen food products and develop new products, reported Kyodo News.
An official at Maruha said the agreement would help strengthen both companies’ operations.
